The Gospel of Luke (5 Sep – 3 Oct 2024)

The Gospel of Faithful Memories
Luke, a frequent companion of St. Paul, often met with many who had earlier witnessed Jesus teach and heal. Luke compiled their precious memories, combining them with a common narrative framework and a collection of Jesus’ sayings, thereby making up our 3rd Gospel. Many refer to Luke as a ‘historian’ for his faithfulness in not letting vital memories about Jesus be lost with the passing of time. Indeed, we cannot deny the existence of Jesus—a real person from history.
