Philippians

Published last

St Paul founded the Philippian Church in the Roman Colony of Philippi, which was mainly a Gentile city. It started with the ‘Macedonian Call’ which redirected his 2nd Missionary Journey westward, marking the beginning of the evangelisation of Europe in history. Paul wrote the book of Philippians from a Roman Prison, as a founding pastor to a congregation he started. Despite his situation, Paul was still extremely passionate about Christ and His Gospel. Like the rest of the Bible, the book of Philippians continues to speak today, as evidenced in the life testimony of Dr John Sung. Come and find out more as we explore Philippians, why it was written, and what lessons we can glean from it.
